Lauren Ash-Morgan is an actress as well as a board member of SSC since 2011 is the founding co-artistic director of the newly established theater firm Speech of Fire. She worked as the Artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. While Artistic Director of SSC she was also the costume designer and set designer for the production as well as the composer/music director and as the text coach. In her final year she was the director and lighting designer for SSC's King Lear. She had been the director of the ensemble until the end of last year, when she made her directorial debut.
